Structure for the Inaugural Season of the Florida Club League

Let’s not waist any time in posting what the leagues values and goals are…
…Florida Club League anticipates to kick off the inaugural season this fall.

Florida Club League One
It will consist in some of the largest youth soccer clubs in the state of Florida. It is a state-wide travel league and will provide competitive state competition with clubs located throughout Florida.

Clubs must meet certain standards and qualifications, for example the league will hold competition for boys and girls ages U13-U19.

Florida Club League Two
This second division league will consist of youth soccer clubs that have been identified through an application process and will have to meet certain standards. This league will be cut into sections (regions) across Florida (North, South, East, West, and Central). The league has been created for youth soccer clubs to have the opportunity to play locally and travel less than the League 1. However they claim that there will be “some” opportunities for state-wide competition. This league as well will hold competition for boys and girls ages U13-U19.

What we do like about this newly formed league is that: Florida Club League will implement promotion/relegation between FCL One and FCL Two.

Florida Club League has also created a league to place the U9-U12 age groups. They called it Florida Club Development League. Clubs will be placed in divisions similar to the League 2
